Hamlet Reimagined

In what turned out to be the best English class I've had in a long while, we spent today preparing to study Hamlet. We exchanged insults and one-liners, did a "what if your father died and your mother married your uncle (etc...)" free-writing exercise, and this:
Put together a possible plot for Hamlet from these 21 elements in approximately four sentences.
This is what I came up with:
The Queen uses ear poison to revenge-murder King Hamlet who caused Prince Hamlet's accidental death in a duel. Then she feigns madness and allows a ghost who is spying for a foreign threat to usurp the throne of Denmark. A false friend of the ghost marries the truly mad love interest of the ghost's trusted friend. Melancholy, the Queen puts on a play.
I enjoyed it too much not to share.

P.S. I'm at 15 pages for Script Frenzy. Join in the fun here!
